Real Estate Expertise 831.801.2400

Let’s start off by saying, blogging has not been something that I ever thought I would be doing. But as the world turns so does our lives change. So hear goes… now since this is a real estate website I guess I better stick to real estate. At least for now.

It appears that our current housing market in our area seems to be picking up again. For a couple months it was a bit slow. Now it appears there are are more homes coming on the market and more buyers making offers. As a buyer, you want to make sure you have been pre-approved with a lender. You might find that one special home and not be able to make the offer because you are not prepared. By being prepared I mean pre-approved. Your agent will submit your pre-approval letter along with your offer to the listing agent of the house you love, and in turn the sellers will be more apt to accept your offer because they are confident that you do qualify for the price.

The inventory of homes listed remains below a 6 month supply meaning that the demand has continued to outpace the supply of homes. So you may have to compete with other buyers. Talk to your agent if there are ways to make your offer stand out above any other offers. Act quickly! .

Whether this is your first time buying a home or the 5th time, being prepared and working with local experts to make the process move smoothly is key. Buying a home can be an exciting time. Our job is to make it fun and as less stressful as possible.
